09.08. Nicholasville to Mt. Sterling. Tag 66

Unser Weg deckt sich am Anfang mit dem Arbeitsweg von Wayne, so haben wir die Gelegenheit Wayne bis zu seiner Arbeit zu begleiten.

The first miles of our route are the same as Wayne´s daily commute, which gives the opportunity to ride together - nice!

Dank der Karte, die Wayne für uns ausgedruckt hat, kommen wir ohne Schwierigkeiten durch die Suburbs von Lexington und erreichen Mt. Sterling schon um 15:30 Uhr.

Natürlich machen wir auch heute eine Pause bei einem Walmart und auf  Parkplätzen vor Kirchen.

Walmart = time for a break. Renate spends some hours in the Ladie´s dept and finds a nice hi-viz jersey.

Als Quilterin freut es mich besonders an Scheunen Quiltmuster zu finden. Leider konnte ich noch keine schönen Fotos machen.

Kaum waren wir im Hotel zog ein Gewitter auf.

Lucky us: immediately after checking into the motel a thunderstorm floods the streets.
